This room is dedicated to Massachusetts General Law 209a, also known as Abuse Prevention Law. Restraining Orders are very common in Massachusetts divorces, as well as out of state divorces. The 209a laws are amongst some of the most controversial laws in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
