Judge Ryley bad Judgement

If I post my story here does anyone read them? I got one that is so shocking. Judge Ryley and the whole court system. "Best interest of the child" that's a crock!
"Alienation" I have seen my daughter for under 30 minutes in a year! Spoke on the phone with her 2 times and texted 3 or four times via the fathers phone. She isn't even allowed to see ANYONE on my side of the family. This is because of judge Ryleys ruling. I got so much more to say. But not wasting my time if no one reads things here.

You must have done something pretty bad to lose custody to your husband. Massachusetts Courts don't often allow Fathers custody without special circumstances.

Me thinks Broken isn't telling the whole story

I have not told the whole story YET. I said that already. I was cleared of EVERYTHING from DCF. THEN I got the judgment in the mail. Now I have life threating diseases. I since let the father know my conditions. Recently he granted me visits.(probably because of guilt induced guilt) He is also on verge of divorce. Do you think I should let the judge know my situation? Please be nice. I'm looking for support not negitivity. Thanks

She was coached and promised presents. I have the proof and admitting she purposely got herself removed from me. She now regrets EVERYTHING. I feel bad for her having regrets. She is young and I told her she put an ugly mask on me and it is only she that can remove it. I'm older and wiser. Let her get through her teenage years and later she promised to tell the truth.

I'm not sure I'm following correctly? Did you lose custody of your daughter and now you want visitation? Sorry to hear of your health issues. I'm sure that if you shared your illnesses with your ex-husband, he will share that with the court. While it is certainly a consideration the court will take into account, I would guess that the fact that you want a relationship will too. Your story is hard to understand. Maybe you could try to explain a little more?

No more to explain. She took her own life yesterday while in the fathers care. I hope the system and everyone that reads this knows that YES THE SYSTEM AND JUDGE AND DCF FAILED MY DAUGHTER! Remember what you told me kathleen E. " case closed" remember I warned you Judge Ryley ALL ABOUT HIM! Shame on all of you! I hate you Jerermy Carter!!!!!!! I HATE ALL OF YOU! The judgement of Judge Ryley cannot be explained! This man MUST be removed from the bench... And NOW!
I have heard directly from highly respected child therapists, police detectives and lawyers that they are appalled by his rulings.
Most professionals I know FIRMLY believe Judge Ryley PUTS CHILDREN IN HARMS WAY !!!
Oh Broken, there are no words to express this tragic loss!

So sorry about your loss. With the issues that DCF has going on right now, I'm sure that this will be highly publicized. I'm assuming Carter was the court appointed G.A.L.? Judge Ryley will feel no remorse or responsibility for your daughter. That you can count on. He is a miserable angry man who only cares about himself. He cares not at the damage he inflicts on families every day.

This is just another example of our state's government gone bad. This is a tragedy. At what point do lawmakers and those in charge take notice? How many children must be lost? DCF...Olga Roche...Family Court Judges Ryley and Scandurra...Governor Deval Patrick...SHAME ON ALL OF YOU!!! Prayers are with this family. May God look over them.

This is one of the saddest things I've read. I have been in front of Judge Ryley numerous times during my divorce. Everything said about this man is true. I hope he sleeps well at night knowing the anguish he has caused so many families. I truly hope he reads this board to see the damage he causes. When he meets his maker, I hope God has the same mercy and justice he has doled out during his time on the bench. Prayers said for the OP.

I, too, have been in front of Judge Ryley. His ruling was contrary to the evidence. His "credible facts" were actually lies. Unconscionable!
I do not believe he had genuine concern for the well being of my daughter, and I fear for her safety every day since his ruling. My daughters father testified in court - right to Judge Ryley's face - disturbing sexual behavior involving young children. Ryley gave this man unsupervised visitation.
I know of a very similar situation where there was significant alarming evidence presented by the child, without full disclosure. Ryley gave the father unsupervised visitation, and the girl was sexually abused for 2 more years. Finally the man was caught and locked up - but this dear, innocent child must now carry this for the rest of her life!
My lawyer, my child's therapist and all involved in my case were shocked and disgusted by Judge Ryley's ruling.
And I now live in fear of the damage that could be done to my daughter.
I agree with all who have stated here that the man does not care!

Merideth the mother of Adrian here. So much more to say. The third time I got to see her privately she was cold. All a mom wants to do is protect there children. I was trying to warm my daughters dead body up. That was my last visitation. I will take time now to grieve and bury my daughter. (Father still gives me no say in funeral arrangements) God Bless. @"DCF" if jermeny Carter was ever appointed GAL anyone would be better off having the devil as GAL. No he was not. Defiantly would never ever meet creditantisls in my book. How's that porche running? You theif! $300.00 dollars per hour is what I he charges.

There are many lawyers that are in Judge Ryley's pocket, and vice-versa. Brother Carter is one such lawyer. The legal community on the Cape that specializes in family and probate is very small and tight. If you're not in, you're out and won't make a living. That being said, if you are looking for a lawyer who will represent you, and I mean truly represent YOU, not his/her own career, you need to find lawyers from off-Cape. It has been known for a very long time that Judge Ryley is politically connected. Ryley is approaching his mandatory retirement age and word is that he is looking forward to it. He has had a few cases come back and bite him in the ass. When he was new to the bench, he used DCF as a scare tactic in his court. DCF was not happy with his use of DCF as a bullying tactic. I know of two cases specifically where Ryley actually got a scolding over his use of DCF.

Broken, so very sorry to read about her daughter. It is a tragic loss. There are a few advocacy groups who have had their eyes on Judge Ryley for a while. Some might tell you to file a complaint with the CJC (Commission on Judicial Conduct). Here is a link to the State's website that answers pretty much every question about the process: mass.gov/cjc/faq.htm. The Code of Judicial Conduct is clear. There are also advocacy groups that are very good resources, should you look for further action against DCF and the Commonwealth (Ryley). Here are some that I know of: ACLU of Massachusetts. Carol Rose is their Director and her email is easily obtained through a search of her name. She will forward your case to one of their attorneys who specialize in cases such as this. Children First Advocacy is a woman who has a lot of experience with DCF cases and family law. She has won some pretty notable cases and is very well known in the advocacy community. Charity Defense Organizations and Rev. Patrick Mahoney currently is involved with another DCF case in the news, Justina Pelletier. His politic and religious views are front and center to his advocacy. There are many more groups out there. As someone mentioned on another topic, there are many news organizations that have investigative reporters. Fox25 is heavy on the DCF trail right now. They are very Republican friendly and anti Olga Roche/Deval Patrick, so your case would interest them.

We live in a very liberal state where politicians and individuals in power protect each other by hiding the truth. Luckily, there are many individuals who make their living exposing these truths. I hope you find answers and justice for your daughter.

Isn't it a little harsh to blame a Judge for a young girl's suicide? Not trying to be insensitive but that is a stretch, no?

Reasoning: I do not believe this is "harsh" or unreasonable at all. I have been before Judge Ryley and know first hand how he destroys families and lives.
Had I not experienced Judge Ryley directly, I may have considered the opinions expressed here to be a bit extreme as well.
But I know differently. Do your research, please. Take the time to dig deeper and you will hear many stories from people who firmly believe Judge Ryley
is a hateful and angry man who abuses his power and feels no remorse by damaging families and putting children in harms way.
This Judge makes decisions that, over time, cause great emotional damage to individuals and families.
He is an unconscionable man who should be pulled from his position - immediately!
