Welcome - Please Read

This Forum was created for people to discuss their experiences in the Barnstable Probate and Family Court or other Massachusetts Family Courts. We understand that most people who have been involved with Probate and Family Courts have been through divorces, custody issues, deaths in the family or other stressful and traumatic experiences in their lives. We encourage people to share so that others may learn what to expect. We also encourage area attorneys to share their experiences, as well. They are welcome members of this community.

This site was created solely for the people who find themselves a party in these courts to help them better understand the way the Courts work. It is also a way to discuss experiences with the Courts, its Judges and employees. The Courts have very little oversight and there are very few Forums where people are able to learn more and discuss the Courts and Judges.

We ask that you treat others with respect, as you would expect to be treated while participating on this site.
